Both our Hospital at Witham and Chelmsford Centre use Digital X-ray machines. This means that instead of showing you traditional ‘flims’ up against a light box when your animal is x-rayed the image is now sent straight to your pets files as a digital picture. This means we can view the pictures at any time from any of our centres without having to send envelopes of x-ray pictures around. It also means that if your animals x-rays need to be referred we can do it immediately by emailing them to the specialist concerned.
The digital system allows the vets to zoom in and out of the x-ray if they see areas of concern and provides a high quality image that will not deteriorate over time.
